Stages and Special Shows

Presentations, workshops and live cooking events with a practical orientation will be featured on our stages and Special Shows - fully embedded within the fair experience.

Special Show Organic Out of Home (Hall 6)

Organic Out of Home showcases how organic works in community catering, gastronomy and hospitality—concretely and creatively. Even with tight budgets, high expectations and a focus on the next generation. Issues in focus: From the initial idea to the organic breakfast buffet: concepts for hospitality and tourism. New products and smart logistics for small and large kitchens. Live demonstrations in the show kitchen: what tastes good, what works? Managing sustainability digitally: tools for measuring, certifying and implementing. Celebrating organic: recognition, storytelling and inspiration—for young guests, hosts and creators. Experience the World of PLANETARY HEALTH (Hall 9)

Protecting the environment means protecting people—today and tomorrow. This forum is about interdisciplinary and practice-oriented approaches to healthy people on a healthy planet. Issues in focus: Nutrition, climate, health: how is it all connected? Sustainable lifestyles as a “life” strategy: What we need to change today. Society meets agriculture: new alliances for a healthy future. Generation Future: young voices for planetary health and system change. Experience the World of OLIVE OIL (Hall 4)

Experience the World of OLIVE OIL becomes the meeting point for producers, traders, buyers and gastronomy professionals. In a blind tasting, trade visitors select the best olive oils at BIOFACH, which are honoured with the Olive Oil Award. This special show is accompanied by the opportunity to taste all exhibited olive oils and attend topic-related lectures. Programme coordination: Richard Wolny, Member of the Olive Oil Panel

NextGen (Hall 9)

At the Workshop Area in Hall 9, trainees, career starters, companies and universities come together - all those committed to supporting the next generation in the organic sector. Whether future professionals, visionaries or career changers, the focus is on practical formats offering fresh impulses, new perspectives and concrete ideas for working in a sustainable sector. Topics such as modern work environments, future-proof leadership and the ongoing development of the organic sector form the thematic framework. Programme coordination: Christoph Spahn, iniciato GbR.

INNOVATION STAGE (Hall 4A)

The INNOVATION STAGE in Hall 4A is dedicated to the sector’s latest trends and innovations. Located right next to the Novelty Stand, it offers direct access to the International Newcomers & Start-ups area. In addition to start-up pitches, panels on trade fair trends and product presentations, the Best New Product Awards are presented here on the final day of the trade fair. Registration for participating in the Novelty Presentations or Start-Up Pitches will be possible from September via the Online ExhibitorShop. Programme coordination: BIOFACH Exhibition Team

Meetingpoint BIOimSEH (Hall 7)

The Meetingpoint BIOimSEH is the central trade fair platform for encounters, exchange, and discovery. This is where people meet, make new contacts, and discover exciting, also previously unknown organic products. Exhibitors benefit from a high-quality Second presentation directly opposite their target group. For merchants, the platform offers an inspiring range of specialist programs, best practices, and networking opportunities. Even non-exhibitors can reach trade fair visitors here.
