BIOFACH Trends come to life through a variety of formats at the trade fair: In the Trend Panels, jury members discuss current market developments and the identified trend topics. Guided Trend Tours take visitors directly to selected exhibitors, products and innovations.

All products presented at the Novelty Stand automatically participate in the Best New Product Award. During the first three days of the trade fair, trade visitors vote for their favourite products in each category, highlighting the new launches that attract particular attention across the industry.
The winners are announced on the final day of the exhibition at the INNOVATION STAGE. The award provides orientation within the wide range of new products and shines a spotlight on the favourites of the professional audience.
At the Start-up Pitches on the INNOVATION STAGE, young companies present their ideas, products and business models to an international audience of industry professionals. A distinguished jury of retail experts evaluates the concepts and their potential to shape the future of the organic sector.
The BIOFACH Start-up Award recognises the most promising start-up. The winner benefits from high visibility across the industry as well as attractive communication and support opportunities.

The Olive Oil Award recognizes outstanding organic olive oils presented at the Experience the World of OLIVE OIL. Trade visitors evaluate the submitted products in a blind tasting and select the best organic olive oils of the fair.
The award highlights exceptional qualities and draws attention to the diversity, origin, and sensory characteristics of high-quality organic olive oils. At the same time, it provides guidance within one of the most important product categories in the international organic sector.
